Vanguard in the city of Quito (Ecuador)

Telvent, now Kapsch was chosen to make the change of 600 of the 830 intersections that the capital of Ecuador, Quito has.
 
Within the entire project is the design, provision, construction and commissioning of the Centralized Semaphore System for the District.
 
The Centralized Semaphore System contemplates the installation of 600 computerized traffic lights, 1,511 video detection cameras, a traffic surveillance system composed of 185 digital video surveillance cameras. There will also be 8 panels of variable messages on public roads, 300 urban transport priority devices, 28 tunnel control systems and 10 infractions control systems.
 
In this change, the company opted for our Vanguard traffic light model, a current design model focused on LED optics due to its sterilized shape.
